1941 Rolls-Royce Phantom III, chassis 3DH11. This is the very last Phantom III produced by Rolls-Royce. The English coachbuilder,
H. J. Mulliner could not finish the body construction in 1940, due to the war efforts and bombing of the England. It was shipped as
an unfinished car to the USA in 1941 to J. S. Inskip,a New York Rolls-Royce dealer and coachbuilder. Inskip finished the body, painted
the car, and completed the interior. Although completed in 1941, it was not sold until 1947. The first owner was Valeria Langeloth
Bonham, of Connecticut, one of the founders of the Langeloth Foundation. It had four other owners before my purchase on June, 2002.
It had been stored for most of the last 30 years. This picture shows the car in 2005, after some re-painting, chrome work, and other
restoration. .
